Salvo Bigband are excited to present 'Testify', an album of re-imagined hymns and stories of testimony from the band.

Recently when rehearsing at The Salvation Army’s headquarters, a lady walked up and began listening. As she took in the
music, she bumped into the Salvo Bigband singers outside the rehearsal room. Within minutes, this lady was pouring out her heart, describing the tough spiritual journey she had been on.
It’s amazing to think this was all sparked while the band was in rehearsal mode on a quiet Saturday morning in a busy suburban street. Therefore, how exciting to consider the impact this band can have when it plays in worship services and even more so at community open-air gigs.
The great thing about the Salvo Bigband is that it’s not an ordinary community jazz group. It’s a God-centred band focussed on His mission:To preach the good news of Jesus Christ and the freedom He has given us. We share that news in many ways, but most notably with our unique Salvo sound that often resonates with listeners.
It’s an incredible privilege to play and present music that glorifies Christ, because you just never know the impact a tune or a lyric might have on someone, even during rehearsal.
